Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients in a busy metro practice
- Perform thorough cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures
- Educate patients on oral health best practices and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure top-quality care
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in dental hygiene instruments and techniques
- Knowledge of dental software and digital x-ray systems
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
