Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and oral hygiene education to patients
- Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Apply preventative treatments like fluoride and sealants
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
