Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to nursing staff
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Support residents during meals and monitor food and fluid intake as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and team members
• Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Engage with residents and their families to create a positive, caring atmosphere

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Valid CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus
• Must be able to stand, walk, and assist with physical transfers throughout the shift
• Registry personnel must bring a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times

• Knowledge of basic resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy, patience, and a caring approach
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a care team
• Time management skills to handle multiple resident needs
