Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Take and record vital signs, and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Support residents with meals and monitor nutritional intake
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a positive attitude
• No prior experience required - new graduates welcome!
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant principles and techniques
• Skilled in taking vital signs and observing patient changes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to follow care plans and facility procedures
• Physical stamina and dexterity for patient handling
• Attention to detail and strong documentation habits
