Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs, and promptly report any concerns or changes to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to keep residents safe and comfortable
• Support residents during meals and snacks, tracking intake and alerting staff to any issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment following infection control guidelines
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with residents, families, and teammates
• Show up ready to build trust and brighten each resident's day

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in New Mexico (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• COVID-19 vaccine or documented medical/religious exemption per facility policy
• Valid government-issued ID and ability to wear a photo badge at all times
• Reliable, caring, and team-oriented with a passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Keen attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
• Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
