Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and respectful care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and report vital signs and any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Support residents with meals, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents and staff
• Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Must present a valid state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs
• Understanding of resident rights and dignified care
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Empathy, patience, and interpersonal skills
