Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
• Take and record vital signs, and report changes to the nursing team
• Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves each resident's dignity
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Ability to work a per diem schedule as needed
• Must provide state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
• Empathy and patience when caring for others
• Basic knowledge of resident rights and safety protocols
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses and other team members
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and assisting residents
