Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Support mobility and repositioning to help prevent pressure injuries
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents
• Communicate effectively with the care team and families
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Ability to work night shifts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must pass background check as required by facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Understanding of infection control practices
• Ability to use electronic health records
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Physical stamina for lifting, standing, and repositioning residents
