Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and dignity
• Observe and report changes in residents' health and behavior to the nursing team
• Document care provided, vital signs, and patient observations accurately
• Support a warm, welcoming environment by engaging with residents and responding to their needs
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in resident rooms and common areas

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in New Mexico
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation is a plus
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required
• A caring heart and commitment to quality patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Excellent observation and reporting skills
• Patience, empathy, and respect for patient privacy
• Physical stamina to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and stand for long shifts
• Basic computer skills for electronic documentation
