Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, helping with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety and comfort
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents and staff
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to support individualized care plans
• Uphold the dignity and respect of every resident while promoting independence where possible

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a positive attitude
• Previous CNA experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong observation skills
• Empathy and a genuine desire to help others
• Physical stamina to perform job duties, including lifting and standing for long periods
