Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
  • Support residents with safe mobility and transfers
  • Assist with mealtimes and ensure residents receive proper nutrition and hydration
  • Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents
  • Communicate with residents and their families in a warm and respectful manner
  • Document care provided accurately and promptly

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
  • Must have completed the COVID-19 vaccine or present a documented exemption
  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation
  • Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and assisting residents
  • Understanding of HIPAA and resident privacy
