Roles & Responsibilities

Assist elderly participants with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and eating
Provide compassionate care and emotional support to participants and their families
Monitor vital signs and report any changes in condition to the care team
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for participants
Document care provided accurately and timely

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Maryland required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Experience working with elderly or frail populations preferred
Ability to pass a background check and health screening
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant principles and practices
Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Excellent observation and reporting skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
