Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) with patience and respect
- Monitor and record resident conditions and vital signs accurately and promptly
- Document care and observations clearly in the medical record to support clinical decisions
- Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and family members to coordinate care
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures to protect residents
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Ability to work the scheduled nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM)
- Local candidates only (per order notes)
- Reliable, professional, and committed to compassionate resident care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
- Basic vital signs collection and reporting
- Accurate charting and documentation practices
- Strong communication and teamwork within a clinical setting
- Infection control and patient safety awareness
