Shift Type: Day shifts — 4x10 (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM) or 5x8 (day shift hours vary). No weekends or holidays. No call. May float between clinics.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer IV therapies and infusions safely and accurately, including medications for MS, GI, Neuro, and Transplant patients
- Start and maintain IVs, manage PICC and central lines, and perform central line blood draws when needed
- Operate and troubleshoot infusion pumps and related equipment
- Monitor patients closely during infusions and respond immediately to adverse reactions with emergency treatment protocols
- Administer blood, blood products, coagulation factors, iron, and intravenous fluids appropriately
- Document patient care and infusion details clearly and timely in the chart
- Educate patients and families about infusion treatments, side effects, and at-home care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Follow isolation precautions and PPE guidelines to maintain a safe clinical environment
Qualifications
- Active RN license (Registered Nurse) required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years infusion/IV therapy or related nursing experience (will accept first-time travelers)
- Demonstrated experience with IV therapy, infusion pumps, central line and PICC care
- Comfortable administering medications for MS, GI, Neuro, Transplant patients and managing infusion reactions
- Willingness to complete REMS training and Tysabri administration training if needed
- Ability to float between clinics as needed and work reliably within the posted RTO guidelines
Education
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required; ADN or BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- IV Therapy & Infusion Nursing best practices
- Infusion pump management and troubleshooting
- Central line and PICC line care, including blood draws from central lines
- Administration of blood products and coagulation factors
- Recognition and emergency treatment of infusion reactions
- Medications commonly used in MS, GI, Neuro, and Transplant care
- Intravenous hydration and multivitamin administration
- Infection control, isolation precautions, and proper PPE use
