Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care in our Birthing Center and Mother Baby unit, supporting moms and babies through every stage of labor and delivery
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence and skill
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns, ensuring a smooth start for every little one
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to keep patients safe and comfortable
Float within the department to support postpartum and mother-baby care, adapting to the needs of each family
Collaborate with a friendly, feedback-driven leadership team committed to quality care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in C-sections
No first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing expertise
Comfort managing high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong communication and adaptability to unit workflows
Experience with Centricity Perinatal EFM system a plus
