Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor patients accurately throughout procedures and communicate critical changes immediately
- Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and assist the team with appropriate interventions
- Serve as room circulator and maintain sterile field when acting in scrub role
- Assist procedural teams across neuro, vascular, cardiac and interventional radiology cases
- Operate and support fluoroscopy procedures in compliance with OBMI rules (Oregon license required to operate on-site)
- Document procedure and patient information in Epic in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare and manage procedural equipment including specialty devices (stents, coils, IVC filters, Impella, ECMO support tools)
Qualifications
- Active Radiologic Technologist credential (ARRT preferred) or equivalent state license
- OBMI licensure for Oregon required to operate fluoroscopy; manager will screen candidates with active out-of-state license who will apply for OBMI
- BLS required and ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology/Cath Lab or related procedural experience; first-timers with applicable radiology tech background are welcome
- Comfortable assisting across Neuro, IR and Cardiac procedures and working in a high-acuity teaching hospital
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent training (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Fluoroscopy support and radiology imaging workflows
- Epic charting and electronic documentation best practices
- Sterile technique and scrub/sterile field maintenance
- Recognition and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Procedural assistance for angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, thrombectomy and structural heart cases (TAVR/TAVI)
- Central venous access and port placement familiarity
- Ability to function as a room circulator and support multidisciplinary teams
