Location: Gilbert, Arizona

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, self-scheduling with 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients awaiting placement from the emergency department
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips with confidence
Titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone according to physician orders
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions
Support med/surg/tele and overflow units as needed while floating between campuses
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care while helping patients feel comfortable during their stay

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of strong cardiac telemetry experience preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start
Comfortable floating between campuses and units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Titration of cardiac drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
Experience caring for med/surg/tele patients
