Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients on a busy Progressive Care Unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry for cardiac and stroke patients
Titrate drips including Heparin, Octreotide, and Insulin as needed
Collaborate with a supportive team to manage frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges
Float to Med/Surg and other hospital areas based on patient needs and your skills
Work alongside nurse aids, patient care techs, and unit support staff to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Willingness to float to ICU/ED for appropriate patient assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Drip titration experience
Comfort with high patient turnover and fast-paced environments
Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms independently
