Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert critical care to adult ICU patients including ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Respond rapidly to cardiac and respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response and code events
• Manage vasoactive drips, titrate therapies, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
• Perform thorough assessments, document care accurately in Epic, and communicate changes to the care team
• Assist with specialized therapies such as CRRT and ECMO as appropriate and support post-procedural care
• Float between units as needed, bringing adaptability and a positive attitude to varied clinical settings

Qualifications

• Current RN license for Oregon (compact license accepted where applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience preferred; strong candidates with 1+ year may be considered
• BLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred
• Experience with Epic charting is required
• Comfortable with ventilator management, dysrhythmia recognition and management, and invasive monitoring
• Ability to provide reliable transportation for assignment and floats

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Ventilator management and care of the ventilated patient
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring and hemodynamic assessment
• Familiarity with CRRT, ECMO, VADs, and IABP therapeutics
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and emergency response skills
• Effective interdisciplinary communication and documentation in Epic
