Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the night shift
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions for assigned patients
Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team promptly
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Document care and patient responses clearly and professionally
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland (required)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Previous acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work night shifts reliably and provide high-quality care

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Patient safety, infection control, and basic life support principles
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
