Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate emergency care to patients across the lifespan
• Triage patients efficiently and prioritize care based on acuity
• Perform emergency procedures including central line insertion, chest tubes, and intubations
• Document accurately in Meditech and communicate clearly with the care team
• Maintain a calm, safe environment during critical situations

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience
• Active RN license (compact or Kansas)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications
• Emergency Department experience required
• ENPC and IO training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Proficient in Meditech EMR
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Independent, self-motivated, and caring demeanor
• Knowledge of emergency nursing best practices
