Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth flow
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, maintaining a safe environment
• Take dental X-rays and impressions with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and braces care, making them feel informed and comfortable
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling follow-up visits
• Support the dental team in delivering exceptional orthodontic care

Qualifications

• Must be an Orthodontic Certified Dental Assistant
• Current CPR certification (preferred, not required)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment
• A caring and patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Denticon)
• Strong sterilization and infection control practices
• Ability to assist with patient education and comfort
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
