Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures such as braces adjustments and retainers
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment
• Take and process dental X-rays
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

Qualifications

• State certification as a Dental Assistant (or ability to obtain)
• Radiology/X-ray certification
• Previous orthodontic experience preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficiency with dental software (Denticon experience a plus)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Attention to detail and infection control standards
