Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance for patients
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Document patient medical histories and treatment plans accurately
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to every patient
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Prior experience in a dental office preferred
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work evening shifts
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental x-rays
• Strong understanding of oral health and preventive care
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
• Comfortable working with dental software and patient records
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Exceptional patient education and chairside manner
