Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients during half-hour appointment slots
• Work alongside a dedicated dental assistant to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow
• Perform professional cleanings and preventive dental treatments (no x-rays or exams required)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and at-home care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver outstanding patient experiences

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
• Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Experience with patient charting and dental software (preferred)
• Attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols
• Compassionate and friendly approach to patient care
