Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other nurses to coordinate patient care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or a compact state
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Wound care and patient education
• Care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration
