Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) to promote resident dignity
• Monitor and report resident condition changes to nursing staff to support timely care decisions
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility to reduce fall risk and improve independence
• Follow care plans and document care accurately to ensure continuity and quality
• Support mealtime assistance and feeding as needed, encouraging nutrition and social engagement
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active LNA certification in the practicing state (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Immunizations and TB screening up to facility requirements
• Reliable clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident-centered care and activities of daily living support
• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, safe transfers, infection control practices
• Strong documentation and charting habits
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with residents and families
• Ability to follow established care plans and infection prevention protocols
