Shift Type: Flexible schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday (specific start/end times to be confirmed)

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans that help short-term and long-term residents regain independence
  • Collaborate closely with licensed Occupational Therapists and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain strict compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards
  • Document progress accurately and efficiently in Net Health to ensure continuity of care
  • Adapt to the unique needs of each resident, bringing energy and empathy to every session

Qualifications

  • Active OTA License in California (or willingness to obtain upon acceptance)
  • BLS/BCLS certification required
  • SNF experience preferred, but mentorship is available for recent graduates with 0-1 year of experience
  • Strong documentation and time-management skills to keep up in a dynamic environment
  • A flexible, collaborative mindset that thrives in a team-based setting
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with therapists, nurses, and residents

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of occupational therapy interventions and rehabilitation techniques
  • Understanding of Medicare guidelines and skilled nursing facility compliance
  • Proficiency in Net Health documentation and EMR systems
  • Skill in delivering patient-centered care with compassion and adaptability
  • Effective time management to balance multiple resident needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration with the care team
