Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment
• Assemble and package instrument trays with precision and care
• Operate sterilization equipment using Steris and Vpro Medivator systems
• Use high-level disinfection (HLD) processes to ensure patient safety
• Document all sterilization cycles and maintain compliance with infection control standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience
• CRCST or CBSPD certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a plus
• Ability to work 10-hour night shifts and flexible weekends as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in decontamination, sterilization, and assembly techniques
• Proficiency with Steris Sterilization and Vpro Medivator equipment
• Knowledge of high-level disinfection (HLD) protocols
• Familiarity with trauma case instrument sets
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
