Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patient treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are properly sterilized
• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures with chairside support
• Capture and develop dental X-rays while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Provide a welcoming, calming atmosphere for children and their families
• Document patient care and update dental records accurately
• Educate young patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and aftercare

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Assistant certification or license in the state of Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience in pediatric or family dentistry is preferred
• Comfortable working with children and anxious patients
• Ability to work a single evening shift on Tuesday

Knowledge & Skills

• Chairside assisting techniques and four-handed dentistry
• Dental radiography and digital imaging
• Sterilization and infection control protocols
• Pediatric patient communication and behavior management
• Electronic dental record (EDR) software
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
