Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and periodontal care to patients
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient treatments and update health histories accurately
• Work collaboratively with a dental assistant to ensure efficient patient flow
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and follow infection control protocols
• Deliver compassionate care that keeps patients at ease during their visit

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience performing dental cleanings (new grads welcome to apply)
• Excellent patient communication and chairside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental hygiene instruments and sterilization techniques
• Strong attention to detail and infection control standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-based dental practice
• Compassionate approach to patient care and education
• Basic computer skills for charting and patient records
