Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons during wisdom tooth extractions and other surgical procedures
• Monitor and record patient vital signs including blood pressure and pulse oximetry
• Administer nitrous oxide and assist with IV sedation under supervision
• Take panoramic X-rays to support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness
• Provide reassuring and compassionate patient care throughout the visit

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Experience in oral surgery or dental assisting
• Knowledge of nitrous oxide and IV sedation protocols
• Proficiency in taking panoramic X-rays
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
