Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality dental hygiene care to every patient
• Perform dental cleanings, prophylaxis, and periodontal maintenance
• Take and process dental radiographs safely and accurately
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Collaborate with the dentist to develop personalized treatment plans
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming operatory environment
• Document patient care thoroughly in electronic health records
• Champion infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a warm chairside manner

Education

• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in digital radiography and X-ray safety
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
• Excellent patient education and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment
• Familiarity with electronic dental records
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
