Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings and prophylaxis in 30-minute patient slots
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental assistant to ensure efficient patient flow
• Focus on hygiene procedures while an assistant handles X-rays and exam preparations
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment, adhering to infection control protocols
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Dental hygiene experience is a plus
