Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Capture and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices
• Assist dentists during exams and procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Ensure strict infection control and sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with dental software and digital radiography
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental procedures and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in using dental instruments and radiography equipment
• Excellent patient education and communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
