Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene care, including cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care techniques
• Take and interpret dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis
• Document patient health history and treatment plans accurately
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive care
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• CPR/BLS certification (must be maintained)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• New graduates welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Understanding of dental radiology safety and techniques
• Familiarity with electronic dental records and practice management software
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
