Location: Muskegon, Michigan

Shift Type: Evening or Night shift available, 5x8-hour shifts per week, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM or 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with 40-hour guarantee

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 - $29.4 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments and equipment to ensure patient safety
• Inspect, assemble, and package instruments according to strict infection control standards
• Operate sterilization equipment including autoclaves and washers-disinfectors
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and inventory
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies
• Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and hospital protocols for sterile processing

Qualifications

• Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sterile processing or central service
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Flexibility to work either evening or night shift as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection prevention
• Familiarity with surgical instruments and their handling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation
