Contract Type: Contract
Candidate Pay Rate: $85 - $59.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to improve patient quality of life
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy approaches based on outcomes and observations
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation so care teams stay informed and compliant
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families to support engagement and carryover
Qualifications
- Active California SLP License (required)
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills
Education
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia disorders
- Ability to create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Skilled documentation and familiarity with clinical charting requirements
- Comfort working as part of an interdisciplinary team and communicating clinical recommendations
- Patient-centered care approach with strong interpersonal skills
