Candidate Pay Rate: $85 - $59.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to improve patient quality of life
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals
Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy approaches based on outcomes and observations
Maintain accurate, timely documentation so care teams stay informed and compliant
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families to support engagement and carryover

Qualifications

Active California SLP License (required)
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
Strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

Assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia disorders
Ability to create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Skilled documentation and familiarity with clinical charting requirements
Comfort working as part of an interdisciplinary team and communicating clinical recommendations
Patient-centered care approach with strong interpersonal skills
