Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and quality of life
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals
- Document patient progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques for continued progress
Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
- Must be willing to travel for 13-week assignment
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
