Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and quality of life
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals
• Document patient progress and adjust therapy as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques for continued progress

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• CPR certification preferred
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Must be willing to travel for 13-week assignment

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
