Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents in long-term care, Alzheimer's/dementia, and transitional rehab units
• Administer IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessments as needed
• Use verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to support residents with Alzheimer's/Dementia
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create a safe and therapeutic environment
• Float to different units as needed to ensure adequate coverage
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maine or compact state (must be currently active)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
• Current BLS/BCLS certification
• Associate's degree in Nursing (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work 24/7 coverage and float across units
