Speech Language Pathologist - Adult and Pediatrics (Outpatient)
Location: Sitka, AK
Start Date: 09-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (flexible scheduling based on clinic needs)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and treatments for a diverse patient population (adults and pediatrics) in an outpatient setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient assessments and goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient progress and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and self-care strategies
- Participate in community outreach and telehealth services as needed
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Active Alaska state license in Speech Language Pathology (must be obtained at time of submittal)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient pediatrics and adult care
Education
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of speech-language pathology assessment and treatment techniques across the lifespan
- Skill in developing patient-centered care plans and goals
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations
