Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and treatments for a diverse patient population (adults and pediatrics) in an outpatient setting
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient assessments and goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and self-care strategies
• Participate in community outreach and telehealth services as needed

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current CCC-SLP certification
• Active Alaska state license in Speech Language Pathology (must be obtained at time of submittal)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient pediatrics and adult care

Education

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of speech-language pathology assessment and treatment techniques across the lifespan
• Skill in developing patient-centered care plans and goals
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations
