Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement comprehensive nursing care for surgical patients
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile field maintenance
• Provide patient and family education throughout the perioperative process
• Document care accurately and timely in electronic medical records

Qualifications

• Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an operating room setting
• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience in circulating and scrubbing roles preferred
• Must live at least 90 miles from facility to be considered

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Proficiency in Point Click EMR system preferred
• Self-directed with attention to detail and accuracy
