Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and document diagnostic CT examinations ordered by healthcare providers
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction or per protocol
• Analyze CT images for quality control and prepare them for radiologist interpretation
• Operate GE VCT and GE Revolution CT equipment, along with all facility-based computer systems
• Assist physicians with invasive CT procedures, maintaining sterile technique and safety standards
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to uphold imaging excellence

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school
• ARRT certification in radiography and CT (ARRT(R)(CT))
• Current Ohio state licensure as a radiologic technologist
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in GE VCT and GE Revolution CT systems
• Proficiency in CT imaging protocols and contrast administration
• Strong patient positioning and immobilization techniques
• Radiation safety practices and ALARA principles
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
