Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, variable days

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging including general, vascular, and procedural studies
Execute vascular ultrasound exams with precision and care
Conduct procedures such as drains and biopsies under imaging guidance
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
Maintain accurate documentation using Fuji EPIC systems
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout every exam

Qualifications

Current RVT certification required with strong vascular experience
RDMS certification required (RDCS is a bonus)
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred
Ability to work 4x10 variable shifts including weekends and call

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in vascular ultrasound techniques
Proficiency with Philips ultrasound equipment
Strong understanding of general, vascular, and procedural imaging
Experience with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Excellent patient communication and care skills
