Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and spinal surgeries
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs to ensure patient safety
Administer and titrate medications such as Heparin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem
Collaborate with the care team during bedside report and maintain clear communication
Float to cardiac telemetry, med-surg, and ICU overflow units as needed to support hospital-wide care
Complete skills validations including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Neuro experience is a plus
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
Experience with Cerner EMR and WOW documentation
Comfortable caring for trached patients, post-op neuro cases, and patients with psych needs
Ability to maintain sterile field during procedures
Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
