Location: Phoenix, Arizona

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM; 4 weekend shifts required in an 8-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, and brain tumor resections
Partner closely with patients and families to support their journey toward recovery
Administer IV therapy, manage wounds, and perform essential acute MedSurg interventions
Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and rehab specialists
Float to other MedSurg units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong MedSurg experience required
BLS certification required
Rehab experience preferred
Comfortable with high-level communication and patient-family partnership
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
Must complete and pass SIMs Lab skills on day one of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Neuro rehab patient care including TBI, CVA, and transplant recovery
Maintaining sterile field during procedures
Strong assessment and communication skills
Ability to work in a low-stimulation neuro environment
