Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating and scrub support across all surgical specialties
Collaborate with surgeons and the care team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Prepare operating rooms and verify equipment readiness for every case
Monitor patients through pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
Respond to trauma cases in the ER when additional support is needed
Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to strengthen team performance

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience in Neurosurgery and all major service lines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment without specialized teams
Willingness to float to Pre/Post op, PACU, and ER trauma as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records
Skilled in DaVinci robotic procedures
Knowledge of Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedic, GYN, and General Surgery cases
Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork mindset
