Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; weekend shifts may be required with a compensatory day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy services across acute care units including med-surg, tele, ICU, and oncology
Deliver specialized care for ventilated patients and those recovering from cardiac surgeries
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Evaluate and treat diverse patient populations with ortho and total joint needs
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system
Support patients through their entire hospital journey from admission to discharge

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Experience with orthopedic conditions and total joint replacements
Comfort working with ventilated patients in ICU settings
Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
Experience across multiple acute care specialties
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt quickly to varied patient needs
Knowledge of cardiac surgery recovery protocols
Competence with ventilated patient rehabilitation
