Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and maintain mobility aids when needed
• Assist with personal hygiene, feeding, and toileting while preserving dignity
• Follow care plans and document care accurately in the patient chart
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification valid in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Comfortable with overnight shifts and working independently as needed
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in vital signs assessment and basic patient observations
• Familiarity with bedside charting and care documentation
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection control procedures and PPE use
• Good teamwork, time management, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
