Shift Type: Per Diem, variable 6-hour shifts (no break), flexible scheduling
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care assessments and treatments for patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric cases
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy as ordered
- Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators, adjusting settings to meet patient needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to develop and adjust respiratory care plans
- Document patient responses to treatments and communicate changes in condition promptly
- Support patients and families with education on respiratory conditions and home care techniques
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in good standing
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required; PALS preferred
- Graduate of a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program
- Previous experience in an acute care or pediatric setting is a plus
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of respiratory care modalities, including mechanical ventilation and oxygen delivery systems
- Ability to interpret blood gases and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Strong assessment and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Compassionate patient-centered approach with excellent communication
- Comfortable using electronic health records and documenting care accurately
